Who We Are
KAPCW is primarily a network of and for women of Korean descent in the Presbyterian Church who are ordained or seeking ordination as teaching elders. As of 2026, over ?? women of Korean ancestry have been ordained as teaching elders in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Additionally, there are about ?? inquirers and ?? candidates on the ordination track.
Our Mission
Our mission is to affirm, empower, and advocate for Korean American clergywomen in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Our Purpose is:
To come together and celebrate our common ministry in Jesus Christ;
To support the network and to advocate for concerns of Korean American women in theology and ministry;
To enhance and educate for the leadership of Korean American clergywomen;
To connect members with each other between meetings;
To provide a place for sharing resources;
To network with related bodies in the PC (USA) and others on local, national, and global levels
